National Beef stock expected to IPO this week; 4 others

“A farmer-rancher owned beef processor in the United States,” National Beef plans to trade on the NYSE under ticker NBP. From the Wall Street Journal: “(National Beef) is now one of the largest beef processing companies in the U.S., according to data from the Agriculture Department, with the company accounting for approximately 14% of the federally inspected steer and heifer slaughter during National Beef Packing’s fiscal year.” The company hopes to raise $276 million by offering 17 million+ shares at $15-$17, and they’re a subsidiary of the U.S. Premium Beef Company.

Four other stocks will debut this week as well including Cobalt International Energy (ticker CIE), Crimson Exploration (ticker CXPO), Kraton Performance Polymers (symbol KRA) and Team Health Holdings (symbol TMH).
